   Open the item#

   In Menu, edit an item and find "Recipe / food cost".

   Add ingredients#

   Click "+ Ingredient", pick an inventory item and the quantity per serving.

   Save#

   Click "Save Item". Leave "Cost price" blank to use the recipe cost for profit reports.
